Anthony Crawford has extensive trial experience and has been a licensed California attorney for 32 years.  Mr. Crawford is a graduate of California State University, Northridge where he was on the Dean’s List, was elected Associated Men’s Student President and received the Pioneer Scholarship Award.  He attended San Fernando Valley College of Law where he received American Jurisprudence Awards for Legal Writing and U.C.C.  Mr. Crawford was a member of the San Fernando Valley Law Review for two years and served as Lead Articles Editor.

Anthony Crawford began his legal career in January, 1983 as associate counsel with a prominent medical malpractice firm headed by Clyde Lockwood and William Ritner in Los Angeles.

In 1986, he joined the firm of Overland, Berke, Wesley, Gits, Randolph & Levanas founded by four former public defenders who defended many high profile criminal cases including the “McMartin Preschool” case and numerous capital murder cases.  At Overland, Berke, Mr. Crawford headed the personal injury department becoming a partner of the firm in 1989.

In 1991, Mr. Crawford entered private practice in Santa Monica forming a partnership with his brother, Fred Crawford, IV, focusing on personal injury and employment discrimination/harassment cases.  During that time he served as arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court hearing personal injury cases.  Mr. Crawford also served on the Inglewood Superior Court alternate juvenile criminal defense attorney panel.

In 2002, Mr. Crawford joined the firm of Early, Maslach & Rudnicki, counsel for Farmers Insurance Company, where he defended commercial litigation cases.  Since 2006, he has successfully resolved complex injury and criminal law cases.  In 2007, Anthony Crawford settled a wrongful death case for over $2 million.
